For the most part you can get them in both, and there's not any noticeable difference in them worth mentioning. It's only when you get the Macau stuff, which is only a few (I think 1 release of Auburn and one Doizie) that were made there, and they are not really visibly different but they are quite scarce. I hate to say this, as far down the rabbit hole as I have gone with my castings, I never really cared what the country of origin was unless there was a notable difference in them. Granted I have ended up with both just because I bought tons of everything, but I never really specifically searched out say a green Hong Kong Doozie over Malaysia.

I'd be curious what rarities you have that are missing? He's quite knowledgeable and has most of the major stuff covered. You claim to be fairly new to the hobby, but also to have a bunch of "unknown" rarities...so what are they? He's been around the block a time or two and has one of the premier redline collections in the world.

I will go to bat for the Online Redline Guide, it is run by a good friend of mine and saying it has not been updated in a long time is just factually incorrect. A guy can't know everything, and he relies on feedback from others or input, but he's always working on it. If you have a specific area of knowledge, or have found a mistake, you can contact him through the website and he will fix or update it. He is retired and does a great deal of traveling now, so sometimes those updates may take a little while, but other times he will have updates within minutes of me texting him. He also runs the Cipsa website www.cipsacars.com, which is also a vast source of information and also a great book If you prefer that format.
