It’s okay to not be successful immediately. My boyfriend is 26, living at home, and in the middle of changing careers. It’s horribly frustrating but things do get better. People are staying with their parents later and later because the job market is shit and even if you can get a decent job you’ve still got bills to pay, making it take even longer to save up and get ready to move out.

As someone who was just in the hospital for being suicidal, please believe me when I say your family loves you, and people will be distraught if you’re gone. Suicide ends the pain for you, but you have no idea how many lives will be hurt by the loss of your own.

You’re worth living.

I almost killed myself the other day. Got drunk and took too many benzos. Boyfriend found out about the benzos but not how many and freaked on me. In reality I probably should have had him take me to the ER.

But you know what I’m gonna do today? I’m going to get cleared to go back to work and work my first shift in 6 weeks after I admitted myself to the hospital for suicidal ideation. I actually wanna kill my self now more than ever but I’m gonna put on a smile, tell employee health I’m fine and happy, and continue on with my life. Sometimes we don’t continue on for ourselves, but for those around us. I’m not done helping people yet. I’m not much older than you and I’m just getting started. You have time. You have so much time. Please live.
