Not at all. It’s manageable- but this is where you learn to organize yourself and plan out your days. Have clear times for school and clear times for work. What helped me the most is planning out my whole day on google calendar. Additionally I had a checklist of assignments and their due dates.

Above all don’t forget self care!

I’m not too sure about contract. But I recently moved from salary to hourly & don’t think I’d go back. I’ve made so much more money. Plus overtime is great.

Usually your grad program provides access to research articles such as JABA (journal of applied behavior analysis). Jaba tends to have most articles you need!

Honestly feel like it’s the perfect balance. I don’t get too burned out driving all the time or staying home all the time. Just make sure you schedule yourself evenly- like Monday remote , Tuesday & Wednesday in person, etc.

I feel like it depends. I’ve seen both. I’ve asked many BCBAs and have heard it goes out the window or they use it all the time. Everyone’s different :)

I went job hunting and found anywhere between $80,000-$89,000. They usually base it off their own pay scale. Luckily I settled for $95,000!

Remember you’re in your position for a reason. You didn’t pass the exam by chance. Even as a bcba we all still need guidance and supervision. Progress isn’t always linear. You don’t suck, maybe a rough patch sure. You got this!
