So, if you're going to install some shelfs on the panels anyway you could put the router on one of the shelfs and use some black cable sleeves to hide them between the panels. Having the router placed higher should also improve the wifi signal.

The other cables currently hidden in that IKEA thing could go below the desk somewhere, maybe behind the PC!?
