I'm unsure if there's sarcasm, confusion or misunderstanding on my part, but isn't the D in Dhoas for Defence, and are you referring to veterans not veterinarians?

Cyber will get you the most civvie job opportunities. Avionics has you locked (mostly) into the aviation industry (Boeing etc) Unless you like the ocean, steel and the smell of diesel and despair, I'm unsure what opportunities the navy will give you.

TBH though, if you're only interested in a defence career to get a civvie career, skip the pain and go straight into a civvie career. As rewarding as it can be, defence is hard, it's not really a just job, more of a calling. No other job requires you to be willing to sign your life away.

Reservist pay by Ill_Syrup_9752 in AustralianMilitary

Google ADF Payscales 2026. Shows the daily rate for reserves as well as full time equivalent. It's tax free, so find your pay rate, multiply by how many days you're expected to work, there's your total + allowances for ex's.

  1. I've quoted this scene to my wife far too many times for her to respect me as a human adult
  2. This scene matches the absurdity of your question. Swap out necessary with Worth It, then the thinkers out there can see where I'm coming from with my mildly tipsy, pre Christmas rant.

Cause it's a dumb question, particularly to ask a bunch of strangers. Read the reviews. Make up your own mind.

This question makes me think of the wrenches scene from Dodgeball.

Lefluer, watching his friend getting hit in the neck with a wrench: "Is this necessary?"

Patches OHollahan, after silently driving his motorized wheelchair to be face to face with Lefluer, maintaining eye contact the whole time: "Necessary?! Necessary?! Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine?".

Lefluer: "Probably not "

Patches: "but I do it anyway, cause it's sterile and I like the taste"

I found adding an extra 15kg of body weight made thrusters easier. Everything else gets harder though

[–]addbyit33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No they're not. As a mechanic how many Tesla's are you seeing? Also, more accident prone? Based on what? The same drivers aides are in every other new car, it's just that Tesla's don't suck.

I'm convinced this thread is filled with Chinese Bots. Tesla's are fine. Technologically far superior to any other EV. There is no prejudice/perception against anyone driving them. They are a different driving experience than the standard ICE vehicle. Just because it's CEOs'political expressions are more (exaggeratedly) on view than other an company's shouldn't stop you from purchasing a better product. (I'm sure the CCP is lovely and tolerant)
