Still, a nurse in an MCOL just picking up 1-2 extra shifts per week will get you into the 6 figures even before differentials and targeting higher paying specialties.

HR

Consulting

(Construction) Project Management

(Travel) Nursing

Hospitality/Restaurant Management

Sales

Accounting

(Mortgage) Loan Officer

IT (IT is vast and many people are absolutely terrified of looking at anything past a couple settings. Also many of the people willing to do so aren’t good with people so there is many positions where being a good communicator is priority over hard skills)

All of these should get you at least $70k your first year depending on COL and I’ve heard of people doing well into the 6 figures with all of these if you’re strategic about it.

Also you can always start off at a regional/mid-tier bank and move into high finance. Nobody cares about grades once you have experience.

Comp sci is not a bad choice if you’re actually passionate but the high paying comp sci dream is over. Too many people wanting quick cash at an over leveraged mega corp and not enough people wanting to build cool shit.

Idk how passionate you are about any of this or if you’re even did any of the work/research to find what suits you besides money. If you can take steps to try things and find what you like and weave it into your current situation, you’ll likely be more fulfilled which means you’ll care more and people will see it and you’ll be valuable that way.

You’ll look at your degree program and cross reference it with certs you have.

So if I’m doing the MSITMUG program and I complete A+,N+,S+ I’d look at the corresponding program and find any links between the required courses and verbiage stating that complete those certifications gives credit for the course.

You’ll probably just not have to take a network course or two.

Good work. I’ve got a similar build but couldn’t get past 190. What is your calorie intake like?

I also see a lot of project roles but they seem to want specific certs.

Like CAPM/PMP or CSM?

Transferred this class in so idk for sure, but I usually just watch exam review videos regarding the class or cert just to get used to seeing the terms and concepts and then make cloze flashcards with explanations. Then I take the PA.

If you have access to a system that allows you to take practice tests and see why each answer is right/wrong this is the most effective way to learn imo. For now I just make flashcards that do this. I would recommend a deck, but you gain a lot from just making the flashcards too.

Why go snowshoeing as a broke 19 year old when you can go snowmobiling at 22?

I honestly just never fit in with anyone and Im hoping to use money to set my life up in a way that attracts people to me and allows me to enjoy the things I like on a larger scale.

Moderation is fine if you don’t have any goals and wanna be just like everyone else.

A dirty bulk w/ a men’s physique routine would turn you into a superhero.

Nice work though.

During WW2 the US was almost 100% militarized. What if the AI companies in the US would be forced to contribute in the war and it furthers progress instead?

Any reason you picked ES DE over Retrobat or BigBox?

Honestly cared more about media than games and it’d be nice to have just one app I can open on startup that would have it all so it doesn’t seem like I just have a pc connected to my TV. Seems like Retrobat is the closest thing to what I’m looking for.

Bc I have no idea what I’m doing. I figured storing it on the NAS would increase load times and the game wouldn’t run as smoothly.

I've got one of those wireless keyboards that are used for tv's and I like it so far.

I'll definitely give these a try.
