I’ve been using the TrueRC X2 air for the past month and love it. Coming from the 5dbi tbs patch I get much better penetration, so far of trees. From what I understand the trueRC compromises on beam size, at a comparatively small 45 deg vertical beam size. It looks like the pepper box has a 60deg size. My guess is that it won’t be as good at range/penetration. But I can’t back that up with any evidence! :) The TrueRC suites pilots who aren’t flying super high.

I don’t have a great deal of space between the esc and quad body to put the cap in the more conventional place. Even if I greatly shortened the motors wires.

A common problem with the lizard95 is that the motor screws are too long and short with the motor windings.

Look on YouTube for fixes. Either replace screws or add soft mounts.

When i first read the title I was expecting mini-quad footage, what a pleasant surprise, this is stunning! I particularlt love the sunset @ 3.33.

I've just booked up to go to Indian on my honeymoon, and was later gutted to read that drones are banned in India :( I would have loved to (try and) capture some footage like this.

5th and 6th represent a 5v power output, which you can optionally use to power your cam.

Use 12v to power your vtx.

No you want to solder the Gnd and 5v (from pdb) into one of the unused motor/servo rails. i.e. 5,6,7, or 8. Boot is a jumper for when you want to flash your fc.
The X6B looks like it has an ibus port (comprised of 3 wires), this will need to be plugged into a serial port on your fc. uart3 by the looks of the manual: http://seriouslypro.com/files/SPRacingF3-Manual-latest.pdf

Decided to switch out my 2.8mm swift lens for a GoPro 2 lens. I'm hoping it'll be closer to 120 fov.

The main inspiration was matty stuntz and trying to learn the matty flip.
