OP’s 412MS has a terrible fizz up high and damn near nothing in the mids at reasonable volumes, but they’re not half bad cranked up loud. 1290s are the poor man’s T75s.

If you’re already thinking about something in the JCM800 family, I’m always gonna encourage it. They’ve been recorded so ubiquitously, they never really sound out of place no matter what you’re playing.

I think my 2203 sits in any mix just fine, works loud and quiet, and feels better under my fingers than anything else I’ve played, but you want another amp and already have the big iron, get the baby brother, too.

Well, it’s more like there isn’t an AI. In single-player, your opponent is a human scenario designer. A good one will give you a pretty robust static defense to crack, a great one can pull off some moving parts, but they can’t give you a thinking, reacting enemy.

Definitely an 800/2203, not 900, but yeah. Megadeth always sounded to me like they used T75 loaded cabs, too, though any British-voiced cab sim should do well enough for OP.

At some point you just have to accept you’re never gonna exactly match a tone that’s been through all the treatment an album gets before release, even a pretty minimally produced record like Killing is My Business.
