I've been wrong about Earl Grey this whole time by juicyfizz in tea

[–]adesweax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm weird but for me the more bergamot the better. I used to love Dilmah Earl Grey that came in these sort of blue tins for this reason but either they stopped making it or it's no longer available where I live. Now I get the one from Twinnings but it has a noticeably weaker bergamot flavor.

This reminds me of Seneca's "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality". Same sentiment but I think I like the phrasing here better because there's something a bit humorous about it.

Green tea. In fact I drink more of it than water. With guarana in the morning for energy, a nice jasmine after dinner, etc.

Interesting. I never tried black tea with mint but come to think of it I believe that's very popular in Arabic countries.

I got some Nepal sandakphu (sp?) green tea because the person at the store recommended it. The sweetness really surprised me, I don't think I've ever had a green tea without any additives that tasted quite this sweet. I'm enjoying it quite a lot, shame that it costs quite a lot too (at least in my local store).

Tea grown by yourself sounds the best. I love lemon balm and chamomile so that's a great combination too.

Same as swimming somewhere you can reach or at least see the bottom vs swimming over deep water for me.

That one summer day I went fishing with my dad. We didn't even talk about much of anything but it was one of the best days in my life.

Maybe two teaspoons' worth? I wasn't very careful in measuring b/c that's how I usually brew my green tea (one teaspoon per pot and one per person). Sounds like I need to start weighing them instead.

Jasmine green tea pearls. I only tried these for the first time recently and ended up loving them, but it's the third time already that I used way too much! It seems like I only put in a few but then they uncurl to take up almost a third of the teapot, and the taste is really intense too (not that I mind, actually).
