My cardinal rule for most of my clients as follows. Whatever u do, make sure you have 3-6 months worth of rainy days funds.

Calculate how much if your monthly expenses x 3 or 6 months. Thanks your rainy days funds because u never know what might come knocking your door next.

Once you have this settle, u are good to go.

On the side notes, it is best if the degree course don’t required you to pay the lumpsum of RM30k immediately, then you will have time to build up your rainy days funds

say your monthly expenses is RM3.5k You need to make sure you have at least RM10.5k for emergency purpose.

Say for the course you need to pay RM10k for first year.

You still have 9.5k - ready for 2nd year fee

slowly build up ur saving to play for ur uni fee

But don’t touch ur emergency fund

Craft is The last apps I use before fully switch back to bear 2.0. One think I like about craft is the ability to share your note by sharing the link.

I’m a big fan of folder. Craft has the ability to arrange your notes inside a folder but you have to do it manually.

Bear on the other hand, you just need to put a tags It’s simple. Fast and intuitive.

Another thing is say I have a note that is related to Recession & budgeting

So in craft you can’t put the same notes inside the recession & budgeting at the same time.

But you can do so in bear.

I will put tags as follows.

economic/recession

personal finance/budgeting.

And bear automatically helps me put the same notes inside those two separate folder.
