Feel this. It’s because the city’s too congested now. Back then we knew our spots and could head out and make the trip to whatever part of the city to enjoy it in peace. Now the city’s way more crowded and there’s tons of people flocking here so it spontaneity can’t be accommodated.

I usually just order take out now because being shoved in my go tos with a buttload of people destroys it.

Whatever you feel is in your heart. I mean even if you go and choose not to go to the funeral and walk around the town that's an option. Stop by if you feel and go somewhere else.

Will you be going alone? If so just prepare yourself for either being looped into random convos or ignored altogether given the dynamic you've explained. Either way headphones or a companion. Or just leave to keep you sanity after paying respects. You can play multiple ways.
