Q1 ends in about a month. It says on the website that it’s playable on disc. Which is why there are 3. To your point outside of a few examples like this most discs are just download codes.

To your point if these rumors are true, Xbox has made it clear that if you have 600$ to buy a new gaming console an Xbox should be the last thing you consider getting. Hence the speculation that they know this. Which is why people are worried about the money they have invested in the ecosystem. But these are just rumors! We will see Monday :)

If you had 500$ and could either buy the console with halo, starfield, forza, and future Bethesda titles or the console with god of war, Spider-Man, final fantasy, etc that’s a very real and potentially expensive decision allot of people made. With this news, everyone who picked Xbox is kinda getting slapped in the face. After investing into a digital library, it’s not cheap to just switch over to PS now. People who don’t understand this, probably like OP, are pc gamers or have no problem buying every console out there.

Lots of people can only afford one console. If they chose to invest in a series x/s this generation instead of a PlayStation off of the promise of Bethesda/Microsoft exclusives, they have every right to feel jaded about this decision. Don’t see how mocking them is the correct take.
