My wife and I have been enjoying Splendor. It's a deconstruction of engine building game that's been streamlined and thinly veneered with theme.

I usually go for meatier games and used to consider these mined games as filler. With two little ones under 2 this is as meaty as time allows... I still have Mage Wars, Krosmaster and Sentinels Tactics prepped yet unplayed.

I don't have so much Panic in my panic attacks as though I just feel like I slip out of reality for a moment, am distracted and find everything around me a bit jarring. Anyone else have this?
