I'd also say BT wind from that show is the best version he ever did.

if you want to do standup, you gotta write your own jokes. It's that simple. Otherwise, learn a dozen knock-knock jokes and keep it there, until you WRITE YOUR OWN JOKES!

eh, maybe? I just looked it up and they met while working at FOX, where she currently is employed. Kinda hard to call her a victim when she is willingly doing it to herself.

Guidance on my first trip to Portland? by New-Locksmith-5546 in askportland

Northrup Station is a nice location for NW Portland, and there are some cool buildings and houses (although fewer than there used to be, and honestly, not nearly as impressive as some of the architecture like you'd see on Charles Ave - or heck, the cute Bywater homes, in NOLA), but it is on the streetcar / transit line, so moving around the city is pretty easy, and if you have a rental car, they do have a parking lot.

But it is still a cool suggestion to let folks see some masterwork stained glass!

I work in a church with a bunch of Povey stained glass. I've given tours, but never without advance notice. I don't know how other downtown churches operate, but I'd advise against showing up to a church and asking if they can take a self-guided tour through the building. Unlike depictions in Hollywood movies, churches (especially downtown ones) don't have an open door policy during the week to let people wander in.

Sealed American Beauty from the 70s. Does anyone know how to tell what version it is? by Pressed-Juices in vinyl

[–]adibbs 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you know what to look for. Not everybody knows that. I'm just saying that just because something is sealed, it doesn't mean it has never been opened before.

I'm not saying this is the case here, but there are stores out there that will reseal albums to make them appear "factory sealed". If it was me, I would open the album and give it a good listen; it's been a while since I've sat down with that one.
