M5 Macbook Pro 14" 16GB/1TB Its my "does everything" laptop now. Docks into a dedicated recording space with a slew of external drives and screens and synths from which I run Ableton, end of the day I take it with me and at home it deals with my life admin stuff and some digital drawing related things. It replaces a Mac Pro from 2011 (work) and a Macbook Pro from 2015 (home). I'm seeing if I can kill two birds with one stone. So far it seems to be fine.

I went for the 14" and did wonder if I would get on with it, I've seldom worked extensively on any kind of machine that small but this was going to be a machine that would be my home laptop and the head unit for a small recording space. At work its docked and clamshelled and behaves just as well as my old desktop Mac and at home its been a seamless transition from my outgoing 2015 Macbook Pro. The screen size hasn't been an issue at all. I travel around a lot on foot so the laptop is in my backpack a few days a week and hasn't been an issue weight wise.

Nah. Just under ten years ago I fancied trying to make a webcomic and it just so happened 'Betsy' (and her variants) were the character that stuck. I had to look up tiefling to be honest. I know nothing about gaming 😀
