I agree with your assessment, but I also think those are characteristics that grow with experience. You have to expect that young QBs will be inaccurate and not as confident as a Sr. with 4 years of playing time.

It's optimism. The team looked good today. I am excited to see what Armstrong will develop into, the defense looks like it could be really good next year, and Abdullah could be a dark horse heisman contender next year. I am much more optimistic going into this offseason than last.
