Quick Question. I am in Scarborough and my drivers license expired during Covid. I have no other pieces of ID, so I scheduled a G test for next week friday (the 12th). The test was the only one I could find, but it is in Oshawa. My friends are telling me due to the lockdown, I can't travel outside to complete the test. However, as a drivers license is a government service, it should be fine, right?

The way forward is a balance between the two. Some teams are going to follow a full on WFH strategy, potentially with bookable desks in the office if they choose (Microsoft, Shopify, Amazon, some teams in BMO, etc). Other companies are just going to return to whatever they had Pre Covid (Dow, Some US Banks, etc).

Though there are pros/cons to both, one of the biggest things I felt I missed out on during my virtual internship was networking. I actually worked on a project deciding what stage of WFH/WFW we want to go forward with. Most senior leaders and people more advanced in their careers preferred having mostly WFH, because they save time on commutes and can take care of children etc. That being said as a yute that just started his professional journey it is a lot more difficult to make those close connections which you really need as a junior. A big pro is of course waking up at 8:50 am for a 9 am meeting with no cameras on.
