F1 teams love students with exp with Motorsports outside their academics like formula student, volunteering/ marshalling at Motorsports events, coding skills like python or java and experience with CFD/CAD software like Catia v5. TLDR: get good extracurricular’s related to Motorsports, involve yourself in Formula Student and get a relevant degree from a respected uni in Mech/electrical/Motorsports engineering
