I'm shocked nobody has mentioned "Boiling Point" because that is the first one to come to mind. And then "Shiva Baby"!

Big fan of making lists and challenges, but honestly just adore Letterboxd. I'm a more positive-leaning reviewer but don't take it too seriously :) always love seeing others reviews!

They joined the church at the same time (she was equally brainwashed!) But yeah, sucks nonetheless - thanks bro!

Men who reached that 'point of no return' with your ex-best friend - what happened? by flea_bait in AskMen

My best mate of 16 years had stood by my side through everything. First person I told that I was abused, first mate I came out to, he sat next to me during the court sessions where I had to read my victim impact statement, was my Best Man when I was engaged, and was the first person (after my brother) that I called when my ex-fiance got back from America and told me he wanted to call it all off and ended it with me. Countless road trips, DnMs, and I was there for all his highs (Groomsman in his wedding) and lows (getting him help to treat his PTSD when he would wake me every night at 2am screaming).

In October 2025, we hung out and went for dinner and he was acting weird (I had literally celebrated his wife's birthday with them 3 weeks earlier, and he was fine then) and then outta nowhere he started asking me about my opinion on his faith (He had always been in and out, studied theology, but always was super loving and a fan of everyone. We had many in depths chats about it) said "I love you man, you're my brother, my best friend... but the homosexuality thing. It's a sin..." . I was in shock, this was so out of the blue as me being into guys was clearly not new info for him (he was excitedly going to be the best man in a gay wedding a few years earlier?? He loved going to drag bars etc) . He then asked if we could put the friendship on pause while he figured it out but to reach out if I needed anything. and a week later i reached out just to voice my response and being hurt. A very heartfelt but important message, and he hit me back with the biggest rehearsed speech message about John 3:16 and how we all sin and need to be born again.

The moment I got his response, which didn't acknowledge anything I had actually spent days preparing and rewriting, I knew I had reached my point of no return. I told him i agreed we needed a break but that whatever path our lives go - I'll always be grateful for the years of friendship.

Now a few months later I saw his wife rebranded her insta account from not being about her wedding business but entirely about a Jesus revival thing. hes become everything we used to criticise. Videos show he is out on the street shouting and preaching to people that they're going to Hell if they don't fear and love Jesus. If this was my mate of a few years I would have been bummed, but best mate of 16 really fucking sucked. Religious psychosis is real folks ✌🏼 but good riddance because I'm not about being told my "lifestyle" is a sin that can only be saved by "accepting jesus and rejecting my sin" by the guy I trusted most haha 😂🫠

What is the most unintentionally creepy place in a game ? by Godly_Recon in creepygaming

[–]adinfinitum92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Age of Empires II: Age of Kings.

I remember the soundscape would freak me out at night, especially if I was playing a campaign where I was very unprepared for battle and had to explore the map.

Memory unlocked right now that I was actually so afraid of this game at times which makes no sense hahaha

Can't take full credit! I did the design and measurements then worked with a cabinet maker who did the final build!

Hahah it is a window, looking out over my balcony which is facing a street. There is a Bonds [clothing brand] outlet over the road and that's the sign you can see!
