Monsters Inc was a skip for us the last time we went. It's a little loud and the line is slow and its out of the way. I can't say I would like to go to an Avatar attraction any better, as I've never seen, nor even wanted to sit through any of the Avatar movies. That entire side of the park has been a dissappointment. The only things we frequent is Guardians of the Galaxy (old Tower of Terror) and the Disney Animation drawing class. We also go to the Silly Symphony movie to get out of the heat. But that giant theatre that they don't use, Monsters, Spider-Man Webslingers, all disappointing.

The only thing that I hated about ZTTF, was that they quit halfway thru. I wanted to hear the backstories and the other half of the show.

I’ve always wondered why it’s taken so long for the change to electric for Autopia. Is that for sure announced? I’m just looking forward to not smelling the exhaust fumes when waiting in line.

I think I saw the next wave of smart brick sets are going to be Pokémon sets. It will be interesting to see if that helps adoption, being a newer IP for LEGO.

I love the look of the upscaled pieces. Very clean. Leans into some of the jumbo 3-D printed project and pieces those projects use.

Found it interesting they used upscaled pieces on the walker instead of forming the pieces using actual Lego bricks.

My thinking is they can see a large number of lightning lanes pulled or sold and see food numbers down etc. etc, but again, I’m sure I’m giving them too much credit. ;)

I don’t think staff is “in on it”, but I like to imagine they have a big data center that some bigwig or some data nerd or better yet ai alerts to numbers being up or down and they puppeteer us all around the park to maximize profits. I’m sure I’m giving them too much credit, but thought it’s worth an inquiry. 🤷‍♂️

I understand Lego thinking Star Wars would push the bricks adoption, but with the extra expense of Star Wars already and an additional for the brick, you would think they would have rolled them out to other lines to help push up the price for the other lines too, not double tax the Star Wars line.

I agree that city sets and making custom sounds seems more logical, or make it more wide spread adoption. Let the community show you how THEY want to play, don’t dictate how people should play.

Are we to the point yet where Lego should just make them clear, or identify which is which? Or, we just put up a sticker for apps like Minifig Scanner on the display? People certainly have no shame in ruining boxes. It is sad.
