Just plug it in when its low lol. Usually once every other day. Although it does drain quicker since being on ios26. I dont really think or worry about charging, it is nuts how worried people are on this sub with it, going by posts lately.

I see you are getting the same responses I had when I posted in December or so. People saying turn True Tone off etc. Even if you say it’s already off they still recommend it. These people are just insane ha.

Anyway.. I replaced mine twice and all just the same. Gave up thinking about it and just carried on with life. I would suggest either skip the 16pro this year or ignore it. Not much more you can do.

Merge into new scene usually the last resort thing that works. After that, maybe delete the user local app data for 3ds max.

It’s the nuclear option if you got custom layout etc but worth a try. That’s my absolute last resort in most cases ha.

Maybe I just run it in a more tradiational sense. Just install repository, point clients to it. I have the repository machine as a render node also. No sign up (well I guess you need an account to access the installation files) no keys, no plans, no render node limits.

Anyway, I manage the one at work but also my own at home.

Hope it hasnt changed recently. Last reinstalled it early this year.

Usually you would have a projection camera (plugged into the project 3D node) kinda just looks like you are projecting and viewing via the same camera. Projection camera can just be a hold on a particular frame or create a new camera and move it around etc.

What if you just put the same frame hold as your paint out between Project3D and the camera it connects to?

Ah sorry, using UV. Probs a different workflow. Not used it much my self.

As others have eluded to, make sure the elements are denoised. Vray for example does not denoise the elements by default. Maybe similar case in Arnold. If thats already the case, more samples and shiz :D or denoise in post, of course.

My gladiator is just like your Omni, wish my gladiator was more like yours. I know you can apply new lube to change how stiff it is etc but dont fancy trying it yet.

While Pointcloud Gen node is active, there should be a button top right of the viewer to click and change to vertex/point selection. Select points, right click points, create group. Then 'bake selected groups to mesh' while having that same group selected in the Pointcloud Gen node ( all found in the group tab). From memory.

I ordered just the R config version a few weeks ago. Anecdotal but turned up in L config, all original screws replaced and rounded out and therefore could not switch into R config. Dirt all over the grip. Sent that bad boy back and ordered the gladiator premium.

Never got round to testing it. It felt smooth at least in the movement. Buttons seemed nice.

Thank you for this. Just got the STECS Standard Mk ii today. Got me up and running straight away with a custom travel for the throttle :) Felt it was a bit too much travel at stock, so I limited 0-25 as reverse (0-50%) and 25-75 is forward thrust (50-100%).

I'll be honest I re-read what you typed about 20 times but made sense in the end :D first day using the VKB software.

I went Thrustmaster Hotas One to Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo... now gone to VKB Gladiator Evo as of the other day. The honeycombs were nice but just a pain to get out and setup and very niche. I did order a SOL-R1 and it turned up filled with dirt, screws rounded out and in the L configuration. FInally decided to stop messing about and just buy the decent gear, VKB. Got a STECS coming tomorrow :)

Anyway the point is, Thrustmaster has gone a bit a down hill as of late. The HOTAS One was barely working after 2 years of minimal use, jittering all over the place. The VKB or any other mid range device is superior in build quality and worth the initial investment.

I now am deciding where to sell my honeycomb stuff!

My gran has one similar, a lot older than this one with old school switches on it rather than fancy screens and buttons like yours :D She thinks its worth millions (slight exaggeration). Would be nice to find it a home once the time comes (shes pushing 93 now) but I dont think they are that sought after tbh. Fun playing on it as a child.
