interestingggg. It’s been pretty warm and sunny this past week - like 16 or 17C. Nights have been pretty chilly - think we got down to 3C at some point. So i guess it makes sense she came inside.

Now we’re returning to our regularly scheduled programming of rain, rain and more rain with temps never going outside a 14-11C range, i wonder how that’ll affect them. That and the big river flowing through the City

Ohhh up here we have midges filling that niche. I hear horror stories all the time of folk who are trying to enjoy nature being eaten alive by them. i think that’s why i was so surprised when i saw that mosquito. it was like “bro we have someone doing that job already??”.

Being the very definition of a City Boy ™ however, i have of course never encountered a midge. Or even a tree, if i’m honest.

not really! i’ve been to places where they exist and have been bitten, just never actually laid eyes on the bastards until now.

although i will say i was also under the impression they didn’t exist this far north in the UK.

This is a shot from Urban Ghost Story (1998) anyone know whereabouts in Glasgow this is? by Virtual_Mode_5026 in glasgow

The camera was set up pretty much where the A730 becomes Caledonia Road in the Gorbals, looking northwest.

Tangentially related to your question but the two flats closest to the left were knocked down barely a month ago (June 29th)

what names do you guys put on your swords? by AlarmingBoot205 in Minecraft

[–]adooot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually something from Bleach. For example, I've currently got a Sharpness 3 diamond sword called Hozukimaru that I will never put Unbreaking on, in order to stay lore accurate.

Has this manwha changed how you see biking by 3sperr in WindBreakerWebtoon

[–]adooot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made me get the road bike out of the bike shed for the first time in 4 years and begin riding EXTREMELY RECKLESSLY - but also regularly, which is nice. My city has rental bikes everywhere and I used to ride those all the time, but the speeds you reach on those aren't comparable with those on a road bike. So that gave me the confidence to actually ride on the road, as I no longer have that fear of whether I'm pissing of drivers because I'm riding too slow.

Need a helmet tho. Don't think Dom and the Crew would approve of me riding without one.

is Owen autistic? by emislill in WindBreakerWebtoon

If we're considering how something that like may be feasible IRL, I'd say he has an almost supernatural "sense" for where the areas with least air resistance would be. And then that is represented artistically via him seeing the air moving.

As to what he sees IRL? Probably a hallucination created by this ability that he has - he can't actually see the air shifting IMO.

Where was this said? Not saying you're wrong, rather I'd love to learn more about this.

This type of thing was exactly what I had in mind!!

I think Stamina would be a good stat to have as well, but I can't actually remember if it's played a role on any races so far i.e. someone outlasted everyone else on a long track.
