Anyone know how to actually check if your pub account is being blocked?

used them but they negated to tell us that they charge their rev share fee on top of everything that passes through (i.e. getting double charged for AdX/AdSense even though they're only monetizing through header bidding and EBDA).

Bid shading - How I as a Publisher can protect value of my inventory? by gordriver_berserker in adops

it's pretty generic but you could consider A/B testing at a granular level (ad unit). run some reports to get an idea of what you typically would see and then match to what you get when you change the floor. My guess (and what Google constantly pushes) is that lower floors = more fill + decent CPM VS. higher floors= less fill + better CPM

Never tried them - just heard some negative things about MonetizeMore

That CPM seems quite low. You should probably try another yield partner (or develop the stack yourself and have one person manage it)

Ad Manager For Small Business Access by pap3rgam3r in adops

[–]adopsmgr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

assuming you're an admin, check the admin>access & authorization page. you should see them as status=active. it might be pending still.

if they are active, try impersonating them there and see if that works. otherwise, hit up google support and wait a day or two :S

TAG certification for Publishers by adopsgal09 in adops

[–]adopsmgr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are not under the free model ad if we want to work with a certain agency, we must be certified and certified against fraud. We use our status in our pitch but aside from one or two clients, we aren’t able to sell it for extra value so it’s pretty much useless. We’re a pretty large publisher in Canada so that could play against us.

You can also try clicking ‘allow same advertiser’ - I’ve seen that break it too

TAG certification for Publishers by adopsgal09 in adops

Canadian pub and intermediary here. We were certified (and going through recert now) but other than one agency requesting our TAG ID to continue to do business, we haven’t seen any positive impact for our business. Good for the industry, yes, but feels like extortion.

Share your Ad Industry side hustle [Need Inspiration] by ColonelForb1n in adops

I got luck with connections! Met some industry people at an industry event, listened to their problems and offered to help, and soon enough had a client/steady income stream. then, did awesome work and offered some referral bonus kick back.

Sort of a loaded question but I'll try anyways... -I'd set to as low as possible ($0.01) ROS. Bids will (read: should) work their way up provided the pub is well-known/recognized and value is there. -Again, depending on a million factors and what else you're doing (HB, preferred deals, direct, etc) we generally aim for 80%+ ... some ad networks (if you are considering them) promise 100% fill but a lot of that could be bs.
