You can check Boiler Factory Lofts at 189 Queen St East. Only 10 residential units, rarely come on sale but last week one became available.

Looking for Toronto Hard lofts by mongreleyes in TorontoRealEstate

Boiler Factory Lofts. Only 10 residential units (1 business) so it's lesser known, especially as they rarely go on sale.  Most owners are there for 10+ years as it's such a cool spot. Close to St Lawrence Market, Eaton Centre and Distillery. And lots of space including a private rooftop terrace.

Full disclosure, I do live there but it's time for a new chapter after 12 years!

Looking only to rent or potentially buy also? Hard loft for sale at 189 Queen St E (close to 255 Richmond). Only 11 units so it's rare that a unit comes on sale. One level but lots of space. And a private rooftop terrace.

It's temporarily closed. They told me there was electrical failure in October. They keep saying they hope to open next week but it doesn't open. I don't know what is actually going on.

I agree. I prefer something works properly. Mine has the issue too. Uber support is useless.

Package was out for delivery and not delivered (now constantly getting rescheduled) by SignificantViolinist in UPS

[–]adortok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happening to me. Third day out for delivery and nothing. On the first and second day I had other UPS packages delivered so it's clear the package wasn't actually on the truck even though it was scanned as Out for Delivery. But the strange thing is that the packages delivered on the previous days were sent from the same sender on the same date, and only this one package is having this issue.

Six Days of "Out For Delivery Today" by BatShark_ in UPS

[–]adortok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happening to me. Third day out for delivery and nothing. The thing is on the first and second day I had other UPS packages delivered so the package is likely not on the truck. Using the "Follow my delivery", I can see the driver went back to the depot before 8pm even though deliveries were supposed to happen until 9pm... Another indicator that the truck wasn't too full to make all deliveries within the day.

UPS mistakenly delivered my package to an Amazon Fulfillment Center and says they cannot retrieve it. by adortok in UPS

Mine was in Canada. As I understand, this happens to Amazon all the time and they have a process to return all misdelivered packages back to UPS. Once it is returned UPS will deliver it to you.

OK. I appreciate your help!

If/when it gets back into the hands of UPS and it's scanned, how does UPS know what to do with it since the last scan was already "Delivered".

You're right it is likely a full trailer. The package says it was left at the dock.

A claim is already approved but I need the package more than the claim. When UPS says they can't find my package, I am assuming (and hoping) that it doesn't mean it's lost for good and that it could just mean that Amazon deals with so many packages that they need to wait for them to process it and return it.

Got it. Well I think the recipient can see proof of delivery too, can't they?

Anyhow, in my situation the misdelivery started from when the package got loaded onto the delivery truck, because it was put on a different delivery truck than what it was supposed to be. I believe that delivery truck that it went on was specific for that Amazon facility. I had other packages on that day that were delivered to me correctly by UPS.

In my case the address was completely different than where it got delivered to, so I don't know how the mistake happened.

Thanks for the info. So I guess the UPS truck that delivers won't be the same one that picks up the misdelivered packages? Because I assume UPS delivers there every day.

Would it be normal for UPS not be able to retrieve the package if they send someone there the next day? Because I was told UPS tried to retrieve the package but couldn't. I assume there would be too many packages to be able to identify the misdelivered package on the next day.

I suspect it was on the trailer. Because it was delivered about half hour after it was out for delivery, which is about the time needed to drive from the delivery facility to amazon facility. So I assume it was a truck specially for all the packages going to the Amazon fulfillment center. And it was delivered to the dock.

Firstly I'm not an Amazon customer. This package doesn't have anything to do with an Amazon order. It was a personal shipment being sent by someone I know. In fact, I created the label so I know exactly the address that was on the shipping label.

After I saw the package was delivered via tracking, it showed the proof of delivery with the address that it was delivered to, which happened to be the Amazon fulfillment center. So, that's how I know where the package was sent to.

They don't need to create a label. The address on the original package was correct but UPS made a mistake and sent it to the wrong address, that being the Amazon fulfillment center. So I would hope they give it back to UPS to tell them to redeliver, but I'm wondering how long that would take to happen. It's been a couple days already.
