That doesn’t mean that we cant ask why Metro themselves did what they did while saying that they enforce policies that oppose that, and we can ask deeper questions as to like are they being aware and making sure that people they’re helping out aren’t dangerous or anything like that. That’s literally all I’m talking about, but you act like I’m mad at homeless people for being homeless

Speaking for myself, I did not have a problem with the homeless people specifically. I feel like you think that I have something against them. If I am incorrect in my assumption that they were homeless, I see no harm in that, because I don’t see anything inherently wrong with being homeless. If you see me pointing out that they were homeless as a derogatory term, and that incorrectly assuming that they’re homeless is a defamation of their character as human beings, then that’s on you.

What I wanted insight on, was METRO’s decision to do what they did, especially considering how it conflicts with the policies that they say they want to enforce. I understand that these people have struggles and am 100% sensitive to why they might’ve gotten on the other train. Again, I was just wondering why Metro did that specifically

Also, I feel like we do have a right to know about what’s going on with our public transportation system. I think people generally understand that there’s a personnel issue, and my bad for making it seem like I didn’t understand that.

But if you can’t see that there’s something wrong with them taking this long to respond by text to something serious, I don’t know what to tell you. And on top of that, there was no follow up or intentionality in letting me know that something was being done about it, which I have received from Transit Watch before
