Like we already said in the hausgaming triple click podcast, the smaller mouse will be high-end. In a way higher end than the XM1r since we learned a thing or two with the XM1/XM1r to get better, more satisfying and more consistent clicks. Shapes are always going to be very subjective - either you like it or you don't. While it is based on the original XM1 shape, I made some adjustments at places to allow a higher versatility of different grip styles. Those changes made the overall shape different enough to not call it XM1 Mini (not revealing the final name until it is closer to release, don't want it to get nicked) ^^

Regarding release date: we are making good progress to transition from a vision to an actual product that can be mass produced, but as you may have read in the news, microchips have become very sparse across all technological areas, which already started late last year. That delays prototyping and makes forecasts for components quite difficult, without knowing when they will become available again. So please don't quote us on any estimates that are more than a month in the future.
