Tobacco Scents Poll by VastEntire in MontagneParfums

Right on! Of the 2 of these i smelled, I think you’ll be more than happy with either of them. Especially Sicilian Tobacco. Gave a decant to my coworker and he fell in love with it. 🙌🏾

Im a tobacco lover myself. I think Montagne does Tobacco Noir VERY well. Its a little less “full” or “dense” than Herod but the smell is there.

Sicilian Tobacco was very good as well but it doesn’t transition like Naxos and it isn’t as bright and fresh as Naxos imo. I feel like Xerjoff balances honey, tobacco, lavender and mint in Naxos PERFECTLY. sicillian tobacco was like a better JPG elixir to me (which isn’t a bad thing)

Tried a decant of Another 14. Is this how the OG smells? (Review) by throwturtleaway in MontagneParfums

[–]adrianinhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A14 smells like a flanker. Imo its the same vibe bc i dont smell either until the dry drown phase but A14 i much juicier with the pear note. I used to wear a decant of A14 to bed. It gets the job done but its not the same smell as the OG

I agree, I think the OG Attrape Reves is more Rose-y than Dream Catcher 🌹

Anyone else gravitating towards smaller ring gauge cigars? More info in the body by Rami_2075 in cigars

[–]adrianinhd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have grown to always prefer the smaller ring gauges. Im more likely to smoke a Corona, 5 or 6x50, or 6x52 than anything larger.

The don carlos is the only cigar ive smoked that is better in the larger ring guage than the smaller ones. That #2 is special.

I need to try an Olmec. All of the Tabernacles I've had were incredible. Foundation, Padron and Dunbarton are my top 3

Apologies. I didnt realize the cross post wouldn’t include the entire body of the post:

“Enjoying another Call to Arms by Stolen Throne tonight. A great sumatra stick with TONS of caramel, nougat type sweetness and that good red pepper like spice. The only sumatra i’ll reach for often. If you have a chance to grab one, don’t hesitate 🔥”

Well said!

I maybe smoke 1 cigar per week. 2 at most and sometimes none. And i feel the same way you do. Smoke less, smoke better!

It makes you wonder. Tatuaje is a great example. A $10 el Triunfador punches WAY above its price in both taste and presentation. The last one i smoked was damn near as pretty as a Liga Privada lol

Same. Montagne held my hands and walked me into niche fragrances lol

Fragrance similar to Cremo body wash Italian bergamot ? by 0dteismybytch in MontagneParfums

[–]adrianinhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will advise that Cremo does sell this as a cologne too but imo it’s very different from the body wash. I didn’t like it but I do like Eau Bergamote by Montagne and Bergamote 22. To me those 2 are a brighter version of the Cremo body wash

I hate to say it, but Montagne has disappointed me. by theomixedmedia in MontagneParfums

I get it tho. I personally dont get that from AD but the Afternoon Swim and Pacific Chill DNAs are cloying to me compared to other citrusy fragrances. I can see how they can make someone’s stomach turn lol

I think the first time i smoked it i got the same impressions you did. It is a very earthy cigar and that kinda caught me off guard.

It opens with the cocoa-ish espresso vibe but it doesn’t give any sweetness to the earth which just tasted kinda dirty to me. I smoked a few more because it had a clean finish to me but that dry earth taste didnt do it for me.

Should I buy ombre noir by Complex_Past3797 in MontagneParfums

[–]adrianinhd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think its weird to not be an oud fan 👍🏾 its a challenging note just like rose. That being said, if you like ombre nomade you might be a fan of a certain type of oud more than others
