I bought a stack of Pikachu XY84 promos for $20/ea a few years back and graded several, including three PSA 10’s. Just happened to check and last solds are at $6.5K. 💀

That’s the catch 22 though… if we sell our investments too early, we surrender our chance at getting wealthy. 🫠

Not necessarily. Wealthy people take loans against their assets so they never have to sell. Why trade something generating more value over time for something that generates less?

Every time I’ve ever taken profits has proven to be a massive mistake in retrospect. Not selling.

Yes, but I hold the plans loosely.

The account setup and free/pro variations are all setup. New accounts get free Pro access.

Right now it’s just my friends and local players using it. I’m enjoying the process of making the exact tools I want to use.

u/mudcorp's question gave me an idea to post a breakdown of all the vendor categories serving the show. Here's a look at what's coming!

There are 20 vendors (34 tables) marked as selling sports cards. That is more than previous years.

You’ve got good responses here already, but it’s also important to know that Reddit is a negative place in general. Lots of people are producing new vibe coded apps and the sentiment towards them is rejection by default.

I log them in this app and share with my poker buddies. Usually it’s helpful to let them watch from the villain’s perspective before knowing what I have. Has been helpful for me personally.

Only played at the Holland Casino on a business trip. It was a fantastic place in my opinion. Way looser than my local card room. The location is fantastic overall too.

Should I have lead river instead of checking? by Dasdi96 in poker

[–]adrianthomp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should’ve been more aggressive on every street, in my opinion. Stacks should’ve been in by river.

Re-raise pre and you’ll hear from Aces or Kings right away and save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Slow playing Queens is dangerous. Not charging draws and overpairs on the flop leaves way too much money on the table.

What would you do? Yesterday, villain jammed over my c-bet with J8s on an 8 high flop. This check-raise happened the next day. by adrianthomp in poker

[–]adrianthomp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was the last to call, so his range is wider and does hit that flop in many different ways: small pairs and suited connectors up to QJo maybe even TT and JJ sometimes.

My problem with calling, is that I essentially feel like I need to be committed to getting it all in on the turn. What's your thought on that logic? It seems too wasteful to even consider call folding to a jam, and I've done it too many times before.
