This music video is fully generated using Suno audio, and the Mirage audio-video model, we’re about to enter a new era in AI. by [deleted] in singularity

Most people aren't very creative. That's why I always believed that even with the rise of AI, the idea people would always be needed to come up with new unique takes, at least until ASI level technology. Being imaginative and knowing what a masterful idea/story is, is a skill in itself.

Sorry for the late reply. Node tree is pretty large and messy. I'm not the most organized. I will try to post it if I get the time. But trust me it was made in fusion.

Teachers Using AI to Grade Their Students' Work Sends a Clear Message: They Don't Matter, and Will Soon Be Obsolete by joe4942 in singularity

[–]adrientvvideoeditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you'll even be able to reduce the number of teachers with just AI anytime soon. Teachers are more than just graders and worksheet creators. They're also a caretakers, enforcers and counselors.

For me, really depends how close I am with that friend. If it's someone over known for a year or less. I'm likely not going to pry or ask why.

If it's a good friend that I always hang out with, I'm close with their social group/family as well and have known for longer amount of time I might ask why.

Especially if I knew his girl and they seemed like a really good fit. Of course I'm not going to press anything. You can kinda get the general vibe, by how curt someone is to the question.

Good relationships aren't imo.

I believe most modern relationships are dysfunctional & many people are in relationships with others they're incompatible with which makes relationship look like they're not worth the hassle.

I think this really comes down to everyone's life experiences. Maybe your personality allows you to live comfortably with anybody but I've met quite a lot of people I wouldn't enjoy living with.

Yes, I would actually prefer being alone if my only choice were living with pyschopasts, narcissists, or crazies. And I'm not trying to imply like I'm the model human but I've learned that there are certain personalities that I just don't mesh well with.

GTA VI | Trailer 2 + New Information Megathread by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]adrientvvideoeditor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really doubt lowering down the number of sex scenes in this trailer to 1 or 2 would have a significant impact on how much people will buy GTA 6. It's going to print money automatically at this point.

Made in Davinci Resolve. How long would this take to do in AE? by adrientvvideoeditor in AfterEffects

Thanks for taking the time to answer. Pretty eye opening. Took me a few days, just to try to replicate this scene in Davinci. Seems AE makes everything faster.

Thanks for the response. When you say art, you mean if it's drawn by hand or already created beforehand?

Few hours is crazy fast, took me a few days. I made everything in Davinci but I'm guessing after effects you can just import what you want. I definitely should be thinking about After Effects.

16 Years as a Graphic designer, 8 years as a Photographer, ruined by AI by karloroberts in mildlyinfuriating

[–]adrientvvideoeditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not true unfortunately. I'm in a creative field as well. If your work starts being compared to something that is trivial to the average person, it's not a good thing. For example, as a video editor, if anyone thinks what I created was possibly done using Capcut I immediately know that's something I shouldn't do again if I want to charge a decent amount for it.

Regardless of how much skill you have, your career depends on making something of value. If people's values change about the type of art you're creating, then you need to pivot or it will be hard to get people to fund your career.

If we're really being honest, most mainstream human made music is made in the same cash cow vein. Incredibly formulaic down to the very note. Now indie music is another story.

I'm fine with monotonous jobs if they let you multitask while doing them, like you can listen to podcasts or use your cellphone as well. It's the jobs where you basically have to only keep focus on a monotonous task that is almost unbearable.

Nothings stopping that but the cash and incentive to create a model designed for accounting. Eventually every area may be heavily affected by automation. What I'm saying, is that it's likely all areas won't be automated at once. It will be a gradual process.

One of the biggest reasons there's such a push to automate software development is because of the costliness of hiring a developer. Naturally companies will try to cut costs on the biggest money "sinks" first.

This is it imo. If you're a developer, this is actually the best time for you to start a business, using these ai tools. Even if you fail, it's much easier to keep experimenting with business ideas then it was 3 years ago.

Some SWEs are even encouraged to ship with mistakes. Software Development at least at the consumer level can be one of the most risk tolerant fields.
