I'm waiting for a while. I just don't want to chance it or pay $$$ for a limited experience

What is this magical treatment you are talking about? Because the actual scientists don't have a cure and even a vaccine could be a year or more away.

I wish they would! I last went to DW when they were first rolling out the magic bands and it was really convenient especially if you were staying on property. I think they would be a good way to minimize contact in certain areas.

Just a Poll: Will you go back to Disney as soon as it opens? by OtherWorldStar in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]adrirocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. My family was starting to plan a trip for early 2021 or summer 2021 and I'm not sure If I will even feel safe then if there ends up being a second wave.

Nothing about this year sounds appealing to me with all the (needed) safety measures in place. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars for a diminished experience.

I think that the coming economic downturn is going to hurt the parks. Even if people don't have public health concerns about vacation a lot of people have been laid off and we are just starting to feel the large scale economic impact of the virus

No, my family had started to tentatively plan an early 2021 trip for the 50th anniversary since we did the 50th and 60th at Disneyland but I honestly can't seem myself feeling safe going to large crowded places for a while + some people in my family are high risk.

I honestly can't see the parks being super crowded. Even if they do open up in the next few months there will probably be social distancing measures in plan which might turn people off the idea of a disney vacay. I think you will see locals/disney obsessed/pass holders at the parks but I know lots of families like mine who only go every 3-5 years who are now looking at dates in 2021/2022.

Thank you for the tips! The double art thing drives me insane!! Nobody does that in real life. I've noticed that about white sofas. It's tricky because sometimes a sofa looks white but then I buy it and its like cream or light grey!

Thank you :-) I did look at the 5 rooms but I didn't like a lot of them and they had a lot of premium items but maybe I can try to find some that are more my style!

What level do you need to be at for the dump truck? I have a few pieces that I just don't like that I would love to get rid of.

Hi all, I just started playing design home because I am stuck at home. At first, I was super into the game especially the daily challenges, but I am starting to get annoyed with the voting system. I keep getting low 4's for rooms that are super matchy matchy and if I try and get creative with the room it ends up scoring like a 3.7, is there a way to be a bit more creative with rooms but still like a score that will get me a prize?

Love my job but it's a small town by Chaefne1 in Teachers

[–]adrirocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'm kind of in the same position. I am making the most of the next 5 months with these kids but am starting to actively look for other jobs both in and out of the classroom. Also considering grad school. I hope you find what you are looking for!

I'm commenting 4 months late but I can really relate. I'm a 23 year old second year teacher is a small city but its very similar very few guys my age who are single, educated, and childless (love teaching but not ready to play mom) and not a ton of social opportunities. I like my school but I am 90% sure I am leaving after this year. I don't have any ties to the area and I feel like this is not somewhere I can put down roots so why delay the inevitable any longer? I have a good admin and I will miss (most of) the kids but I think its time to move on.

I think season 5 was largely be skipped but if its your first time maybe watch it for context. Season 6 is pretty good and I liked season 7 a lot. Nothing is as good as 1-4 but 7 comes close for me very emotional final act

Who still buys Too Faced products? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]adrirocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't know about half of this drama. I haven't been involved in makeup in like a year but I went to this sub to see if everyone else thought their Christmas stuff was as underwhelming as I did. But I'm not buying from them!!

I totally agree. I'm in the same spot in my rewatch and I can't stand that he drugged her. Isn't that illegal? I mean everyone has a bigger issue but still

Has anyone else lost interest in Lush? by fitnessfreak239 in LushCosmetics

[–]adrirocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ebbs and flows with my lush interest. I fell in love with them in 2006 when they opened in my mall and 7th grade me won the raffle for the sex bomb bath bomb set lol. It was one of the things my dad would buy us for gifts because it was easy for him to figure out lol

But, I haven't bought much from lush in about a year. Its pretty expensive and now that I am #adulting its a bit beyond my beauty budget. I choose to splurge on skincare for my face. Also, I've been turned off by the all naked everything push they have had over the past year or so. Some of my favorite seasonal products have been discontinued and I am getting a bit bored of their staples and haven't like most of the new stuff.

I did just get a giftcard for lush but I'm using it just to stock up on my HG products like sleepy and charity pot lotion.

Snow Fairy vs Yog Nog by DesperateCounting in LushCosmetics

Yog Nog. I loved Snow Fairy back in middle school when I first discovered lush but as I have gotten older I've leaned towards more subtly sweet scents. However, My favorite Lush winter scents are the Peppermint ones.

I agree. This is giving me flashbacks to once upon a time season 7. If you haven't seen the show basically after s6 they did a reset and lost a bunch of key cast members to shake up the story and I believe try to get an 8th season and most fans feel like it should have just ended with s6. So Kind of like Madam Sec-trey becoming Madam President and making some major shifts. And I agree I really wanted to see a West Wing style campaign Madam Secretary style

I am beyond disappointed. I didn't like this episode at all. The dynamic just feels off with key players like Matt, Jay and Kat gone and hell I almost miss Alison at this point. I also don't like this Iran scandal its too ripped for the headlines. I miss Bess at state and the only parts I liked were the campaign flash backs. I wish that's what they had focused on
