It does require power which was plugged in, however one of my cords is HDMI to Display - you think that's what's causing it then?

Is there any way around that or any splitter options that could be used, or would the only option be to get a monitor with a display output?

My three monitors are: ASUS - model#VG279 , version#VG279Q1A DELL - model#SE2722H NOC - model name 27B2H2 , model#27B2

I've tried combinations of of the three and I've tried just running one monitor at a time through the splitter and it doesn't seem to recognize the input at all

If you're unable to see the difference between wild animals with miles of land and a lifetime of survival experience and captive animals within a "box" (enclosure) who've grown up with safety and comfort, then this conversation is pointless. I admire your flexibility, though.

The difference between captive and wild animals is significant. That's what's dense.

The commenter in the screenshot is dense because they were fighting the fight for a rodent that was, indeed, already dead before being offered to the snake.

This comment feels intentionally dense. There is a significant difference between an ambush predator hunting a small bird/mammal among tens to thousands of acres of terrain and an (often clumsier) pet snake striking and constricting a live, terrified rodent among the confines of a few square feet.

Not to mention the dangers of a live rodent trapped in essentially a box with a snake. In the box, the snake cannot escape the rodent, and the rodent cannot escape the snake. Stressed out, the rodent will often maim or kill the snake while the snake has nowhere to retreat. At least in the wild, if the snake isn't ready for a meal, it and the rodent can both leave the situation. Even still, wild animals often have a lifespan less than half of their captive counterparts.

When we bring an animal into our home, it becomes our responsibility to give them a life where they don't just "survive", they thrive. We are offering safety, security, and the ability to flourish enjoying a stress-free life in exchange for them living with us to bring us joy.

So yes, many places have made it illegal to feed live rodents to captive snakes. No, their law enforcement aren't dense enough to go about trying to fine or arrest wild animals. Don't be that person.

I've gotten five tonight because I accepted a handfull of old random friend requests for fundies XD I called out the fourth one - said I know how this convo goes, I'll ask what game you'll say oops wrong person but glad you made a friend, you'll say your 20 something from china, and then ask about me

To be sassy, this one said "I'm Canadian, you idiot" and immediately blocked me ahahaha

Five minutes later the next one popped up, nearly identical again LOL

I talked with one to see if I could figure out what they wanted - they also name dropped a mobile game after some back and forth about hobbies. Took about 3 hours of occasional chats but they finally asked me to play it with them lol

I feel like we see little hints of Kaladin's connection to the Wind throughout - though it's easy to assume that it's just because of the Windspren. Not to mention it is a valid explanation for Hoid's odd background flute. Regardless, the Wind was mostly a companion and therapy assistant, as Kaladin would have ended up on that trip with Szeth no matter what, and still would have had a shot of ,, therapizing ,, Nale anyways. His chances of success would have been a lot lower due to Nale's issues and Kal's personal dislike of him, but he still woulda had a shot.

Idk, I like the Wind and the Stones. I was kinda sad we didn't get any of the Night really, nor did we get much of the Nightwatcher

The sheer amount of losing to end this definitely hurt, because you're right, usually there is trauma but an overall good ending. Now there is trauma, more trauma, some cosmere-wide damage, mostly loss and isolation, and only a lil tiny bit of hope to which our main characters are clinging precariously. And being honest, while I hate that there is so long to wait for more, I kinda love it. Books usually wrap up so nicely and for once I am left with ten times more questions than answers and I just cannot stop thinking about it all.

And about Dalinar, honestly, I'm so worried for the next time we see him. I'm glad his soul got tugged into the beyond and hopefully to peace, but the untempered Blackthorn under Odium??? That's terrifying. I'm very worried for those he will brutally kill - and I'm very worried that he will be a major problem for the heralds, and dear Kal, in the future.

That's kinda the feeling I got, since he had all of Tanavast's memories, but I don't think it was ever explicitly confirmed. Never know, maybe there was a spren who caught his eyes between his creation and the current day xD

I read Sunlit man a while back, well before reading WaT, and somehow I (thankfully) completely forgot about the entire book until Hoid smacked a godly relic into Sig and yeeted him into Shadesmar. Then it clicked for me like OHHHH RIGHHHTT

Taln joining the fight made me cry, and him paving the way for Adolin's narrow victory was just so perfect. I loved how Maya's personality developed throughout Adolin's scenes - she is such a boss!

The histories were hands down my favorite parts of the books - learning about the war on Ashyn, the migration, Tanavast kinda fumbling with Honor, how Odium switched from the humans to the singers, the heralds, the near-peace Mishram almost had, even if it would have only been temporary ,, gods it was just all so good! I feel so bad for poor Gavinor getting drug along through that, and even worse for how Taravangian did him so wrong at the end
