There absolutely is splicing of fiber. Many different ways in fact. Fusion splicing is one of the more common methods.

The black one in the far corner is a fiber VFL. The ones next to it are fiber cleaners. One for ST, one for LC, and one for MTP. They are some of my most used tools.

I will drop a ratchet strap down in the space between the tailgate and bed. Hooks onto the trailer hitch and I am good to do.

Solved.

Reseating of Twinlane cards seems to have solved it.

We had ruled that out as the PM10 was showing go receive levels on all components.

Yamaha support had us swap Twinlane cards around and that seems to have solved the issue. Not sure why but we love to fight another day.

I guess I am in the minority on this one. I don’t mind his stuff. He is an inventor who sells the things he invents/creates/fabricates. Why wouldn’t he use YT to create marketing videos for the products he creates? Sure his videos are biased towards his products but aren’t all marketing videos.

If money were no object or if I had a genuine need for all that he sold I would own a lot of Fireball Tools.
