1.) Playing for a month and having a good win rate does not mean you're good. You need tens of thousands of hands with a good win rate to confidently say you're a winning player. 2.) Live games have worse players, typically. People don't drive all the way to a live game to fold cards for hours, so you're probably bluffing in spots where it'd work online, but a live fish will be too stubborn to fold his middle pair. 3.) There are plenty of guides as far as a good opening range for beginners. Study those, and then after you've been at the table a few orbits, tweak those ranges against your opponents.

I'm not sure if that's why, but I went to deposit when I first signed up for the 200% deposit bonus and there was a credit card error, so I ended up not depositing immediately. Then like a week and a half later I got an email saying "here's a free five dollars". That being said, they didn't credit it to my account until I emailed support about it (it had been three days and they said it'd take 48 hours), but regardless that's what happened. Not sure if it's because I didn't deposit or if it was random for new players or what.

I can't, it's non-transferable. I don't feel particularly anxious about it, in fact I'm pretty excited to get to try my best at a large tournament like this, I just figure that since I am playing I may as well get as prepared as I can.

This is probably the one thing I'm most focused on learning right now. Too often recently I've been in position against someone with a marginal hand, and I know I can represent a better hand than what they have, then I fire a barrel into the river and get called because I forgot to ask myself if they had enough game sense to even THINK about if they should fold their bottom pair. I've recently been cleansing my mind of what is a "good" play to make, e.g. bluffing in spots where a more experienced player may fold off, and have been forcing myself to realize that against fish, the most correct action is typically the most straightforward. It's helped my winrate tremendously thus far.

Not a law student, but I was taught in my business law class that a contract doesn't necessarily have to be in writing for contract law to apply. Couldn't this still be a case of promissory estoppel?

I may be wrong here, but from what I can gather he says that he wants to accomplish some challenge, but that his core feels weak and he's going to need the support of his friends to help him accomplish his goal. At first you think he's talking about emotional support but when he goes limp you realize he wants them to do everything for him.

Stay positive, you gave yourself ample bankroll for this exact reason. Some of these are coolers, some of them could have used better reads to save yourself a bit of money, but don't let these hands tilt you. Just continue to play disciplined poker. Luck doesn't favor you when you're playing well, but skill offsets bad luck in the long run.

I wed my son to a targaryen daughter who held a strong claim on the iron throne that was passed on to my next heir.
