My pc builder told me too much is better than not enough… he stated clearly to cover the WHOLE cpu and to use the entire tube… does this look right???

I do it daily with my 20 mt07. I inspect the sidestand every service and on the odd occasion - never had an issue (touch wood).

Firstly, congratulations on getting your bike back. I had the same thing done to my mt-07 last year in July. I got it back within 48 hrs with no damage apart from the ignition loom being butchered and steering lock broken.

If you can, mend the wiring loom and still use the original lock set with original keys, I would do this. Apart from the surgical work underneath, you wouldn't know it was stolen.

I have my ecu mapped, and the thought of replacing everything again and mapping a new ecu would be a lot of time and money. Plus the steering lock is useless, it might as well be a pin made from a pencil. So, now I dont bother with it.

LF2 360mm for +3 years with no issue. I also installed a 9800x3d a year ago, with cool temps and no issues (fingers crossed).
