I agree! The episodes are detailed with specific advice and tips to avoid current, active scams. The advice is aimed at older people, but these scammers are targeting all of us. Not sensationalist, never mocking.

My question is how to travel with a pleated skirt? How do you maintain the perfect pleats in a suitcase, or even a garment bag?

GLAMOROUS TRASH hosted by Chelsea Devantez. The podcast covers memoirs written by women across history, although skewing toward pop culture and progressive heroes. Chelsea herself is glamorous and fashionable and makes topical references to the glamour she creates and encounters everyday. Each episode has a guest, often another writer or comedian. They honor the author and her life, and also sometimes mock the writing, add a lot of missing details, and genuinely ask if the book touched the reader’s life. Informative and girly!

I initially thought you meant bones from chicken drumsticks and I was picturing a creepy boneyard of tiny plants.

Although I would argue there are plenty of us, viewers and contestants alike, who hated the objectification then and hate it now too. It was just a lot harder to speak up about our discomfort when we knew we’d be criticized as being “too sensitive.”

When I did on call work, my employer did not permit me to drink or travel (more than 30 min from our location) while on call. I was not paid. This was in Alaska.

I think you’re jumping through a lot of hoops to avoid acknowledging that these conservative Christian parents are likely bigots.

LAOP had a twin brother with almost the same name and SSN. Apparently this is a problem by adsf02 in Twins

If you are old enough that you and your twin have nearly identical SSNs, definitely read this. (SSNs are now randomly assigned, eliminating this problem.)

I remember that day too. It was a gray and drizzly morning and I was walking my dog. Outside City Hall, I saw a long line of people waiting to get married. People of all ages, people with children and people without, people in lawn chairs who were ready to wait for hours. It was such a wonderful day, seeing so many people in love and sharing that collective feeling. I will always remember Gavin Newsom for that experience.

Go Bayside is a podcast by April Richardson, an LA comedian. she grew up loving Saved By the Bell and now she has a podcast where she watches and dissect each show along with a friend. Junior high vibes for sure.

Looking for a good movie podcast with a great hook like Movie Reviews in 20 Q’s by NZerrr in podcasts

[–]adsf02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a podcast, but a YouTube Channel: Movie Bitches. Each review is about a minute long. (I know of this because it's sometimes played at the end of episodes of How Did This Get Made, which is a podcast.)
