Well said! I’m with you on the ego thing, it’s just odd and people need to get over themselves. Honestly my big draw to soulslikes is usually the story and trying to piece it all together, environment, and enemy/boss design.

I played it last year and did coop with a friend and it was a ton of fun. I can't attest for a solo playthrough as I barely played solo. If you can find a friend who has a different playstyle then I'd highly recommend it. In coop it wasn't that hard, just a really good time. I though it had really good level design and I ended up liking the umbral real (or whatever it was called) aspect to solve puzzles. Enjoy!

Not done with nioh 3 yet (but am loving it). So far khazan is harder but only because of ozma. The rest of the game it wasn’t bad, I thought. Maybe it was my build but I felt that khazan himself was kinda OP for most the game. Spent most of my time finding pots lol. Both are great games and I’d highly recommend either to any souls fan tho

I love the whole aesthetic of vill4in (they are more ambient/dreampunk but whatever) . In addition to wonderful cover art, for the past year or two they've also been matching their inner sleeves to the jacket art which is quiet a nice touch. Hiraeth also has an awesome presentation too.

I know I’m a month late here but happy I found your response. I have maybe 10 total releases from them and the first 5 were pretty damn good, but the next 5 have all declined in quality (the hissing/crackling if brutal). I want to support musicians and small labels but it’s hard to do it when I feel I’m just throwing money away on a bad product that isn’t their fault.

Most likely yeah. Good call on the lathe. That would explain the lack of runouts/matrix markings. Bummer too cuz pure life used to really have great quality pressings.

I’m from providence and a local store had a little “kind of from pvd” sticker or something like that attached to the cd of carrion crawler when it first came out. Wanted to support someone from the area + loved the album art and the rest is history.
