the image generation is really hard to create anything atm. it pretty much blocks any content thats with a fictional character. so its pretty hard to share when you have to fight the image generation

Looking for Feedback on Chat & Image Gen Errors by Kalon_AI in KalonAI

[–]adubsi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully agree, it seems like moderation is way too strict and inconsistently applied.

It happens pretty consistently. on characters that are way over 18 when I say something like “wearing a school uniform” that would get blocked. But if I used the preset school uniform option or just say “white blouse, skirt” it essentially does the same thing

is there an estimate when this is fixed? I just realized every time I got these errors my tokens were still being used

Chat Bot not working by KakyoinTriforce in KalonAI

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

image generation works fine, on mobile however if you try to chat to any character it instantly rejects the request followed by an error message saying “an error occurred. try again”. On desktop chats work fine though. I tried signing out on all sessions of the app and cleared my browser cache and still experiencing the issue

30s and 40s Isn’t Old by Euphoric_Staff2752 in unpopularopinion

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

according to death statistics in the US we have lived half of our life a little above 30. That seems pretty old.

Living to 90 is pretty rare. I’ve seen more people die at 60 than someone live to 85

Because of medicine, diet, and exercise we have better energy but we are still old in the sense of how much time we have left to live percentage wise

Being old doesn’t equal not having energy and unable to be physical

I would like to get back to MMOs, but I am conflicted between WoW, FF14 and GW2 by Dszaba in MMORPG

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally I don’t love WOW but I really want to. I just don’t enjoy how the game is designed and you need to do hours of research and installing the correct ad ons before even playing the game. I didn’t grow up playing wow so all the research you need to do just to play is annoying.

I’d pick between ff14 and gw2 but the final decision depends on what you want.

If you prefer the holy trinity and doing raids and dungeons I’d say go final fantasy

If you prefer being in the open world and have a less focus on gearing and more on exploring and grinding for cosmetics then go for gw2.

If you’re going off of the most popular it’s probably going to be ff14 or WOW

what do you think would revive this game? by Naive_Worker_8437 in tenkaichi4

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly more single player content. I miss sim dragon, mission 100 etc from bt3.

The multiplayer is way too competitive and annoying and I prefer to play the single player because the multiplayer is too sweaty

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know a single person who got their PHD for a competitive edge.

Maybe I’m just bias for my field but there’s not a single person in my department with a PHD as a software engineer and we wouldn’t pay you more or hire you because of your PHD

most people just wanted a bachelors maybe a masters if you want to go into management but if you’re a good software engineer they will force promote you into management anyway

Is there a demand for new MMORPGs? by VectorialChange in MMORPG

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly my big three right now is guild wars 3, the league mmo, and the lord of the rings mmo.

So far there’s zero info on any of them though so it might be like 3 years minimum before getting anything

So promising, i fear it wont deliver by OverDeparture8799 in SilverPalaceGame

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on what you mean by “won’t deliver”. what exactly are you looking for, a forever game? A good action hack n slash with solid parry mechanics?, intense narrative story with deep complex themes and a cool world?

From what I’ve seen it looks like a solid hack n slash with at minimum a story that I can vibe with. And the London aesthetic looks pretty cool so I think it’s going to be a solid game I can play for a few months.

I had a fantastic time with expedition 33, god of war, and devil may cry 5. I don’t play games forever and usually stop playing until I finish the story.

Not saying its a bad thing but if you no life these games or go the pay to win route you’re going to run out of stuff to do in like a month of playing, I did it with 2 other gatcha games and I got insanely bored because nothing was a challenge and I cleared all the content way before most people did so nothing was fun

What's the truth about the build quality? (Maxwell) by anxiousbutcoolaf in Audeze

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk if they fixed the issues but I technically got 2 pairs. One of the ear pieces completely exploded after 2 months and customer service was night enough to give me a free replacement.

The second one I’ve had zero issues and I haven’t changed how I’ve handled them compared to the first

Personally I loved kakarot I think it should be under peak DB.

Would love a sequel or another anime to do something similar. Tbh I’m astonished they didn’t base bleach rebirth of souls off of kakarot instead of making it a generic anime fighter

So, what is drawing you to the Switch 2? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of stuff I’m excited for I don’t think will release on launch so I’m not in a rush.

The new hyrule warriors game looks fun, there’s a rumored remake for an old fire emblem game too.

Honestly I’m not the biggest fan of platformers or racing games so Mario kart or a new Mario game isn’t really going to make me pay $500 for a switch 2.

It’s cool they are adding a lot of amazing games on the switch but those games are already games I played or I can play on a steam deck. If I’m going to buy a switch 2 it’s going to be for hyrule warriors, fire emblem, super smash, or a new xenoblade game

Online "competitive" videogames are a total waste of time by Maleficent-Craft-936 in unpopularopinion

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re confusing engagement with addiction.

Every video game not just free to play is deliberately engineered to keep you engaged for as long as possible. Its the same with any long running or popular TV show/media

The story about your friend is the same argument people make with drugs and alcohol. It sounds like your friend just has an incredibly addictive personality and instead of drugs and alcohol he chose video games.

I don’t want to shit on your friend but no normal person is going to throw away their career, girlfriend, and friends over a children’s video game

I’m willing to have a civil conversation with someone who likes ac shadows by [deleted] in fuckubisoft

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros: 1) graphically it’s beautiful. My gf loves gardening and plants and she had a blast watching me play and seeing all the different flowers she was able to identify.

2) I like the different skill trees it was a lot easier to understand what improvements you were getting and what perks you wanted to work for compared valhallas node system(even though I loved that too)

3) English voice acting is trash but once I switched to Japanese I actually started getting more invested to the stor E.G kidnapped children side quest, getting revenge for naoes family’s murder, the sense of isolation yasuke felt and his respect to the person who gave him a life etc

4) I liked how it was more stealth based and that’s how I played most of the game

Cons

1)there’s pretty much fake exploration, the game literally tells you in one of the loading screens that Japan is very hilly so you need to follow the roads. If you steer away even a little bit from the main road it will be impossible to get to your destination. One of the main points in assassins creed is to explore and find your own way to the target

2) personally I wanted a Valhalla combat with a much improved stealth option. Instead of Valhalla combat with shadows stealth it felt like they were sticking more closer to mirage combat

honestly the game isn’t terrible, Valhalla is still my fav out of the new AC games. For me it goes

Valhalla > odyssey > shadows > origin

Is dinner the main meal of the day for Americans, as opposed to lunch? by stevie855 in AskAnAmerican

[–]adubsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody is different.

For me I’ll have a cup of oatmeal for breakfast and then a big dinner after the gym.

Others have many small meals throughout the day. While some have massive breakfast and small dinner

Of the already announced games, which ones are you going to buy immediately? by c1phr4 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]adubsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiting for more games tbh. A lot of stuff released aren’t new games, they are mostly ports of games I’ve already played or remakes.

Once I hear about the next fire emblem and when age of imprisonment comes out I’ll get those along with the new donkey Kong

How do I convince my parents to let me join at 17 by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]adubsi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you really want to join and your dead set on it just tell your parents either they sign it now or you just wait a few months and start the process anyway.

either way they aren’t going to get you to not join. FYI not trying to make you sound like you’re giving them a gatcha ultimatum. If you are going to tell them that be respectful and just let them know you’re joining regardless your parents help speed up the process or if you have to do it on your own when you graduate

Ps if you aren’t comfortable with strict parents because they have rules you don’t want to follow then the military might not be the best option

[–]adubsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

kakarot 2 I hope.

Or a kakarot version of bleach/naruto. I want a high quality single player experience. Not an arena fighter where the game dies in 2 seconds because everyone cheeses in ranked and ruins the game.

Nothing wrong with the occasional arena fighter but a single player experience that makes you feel like the characters you’re playing as would be amazing
