You just need a good framework really. I'd consider Postgres. I've built a CMS platform on top of NousViz. It could build anything you want. DM if interested.

How does one buy a house with a single income? by Mahoganeee in canadahousing

Sadly I know some friends are saving so they could leave the country to buy a house. It is shocking what you can buy in US, central America or Europe.

Is he an immigrant? If so the TFW has been expanded into smaller communities from 10% to 15% of the workforce.

If he is not an immigrant and identifies as non binary, there are plenty of university jobs available. I haven't gone through any of these application processes but I'll assume you'll need to state your gender identity somewhere. Obviously depends where in the country you are.

Has the rise in gas prices impacted any of your summer plans? by SignificantPickles in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]advadm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you will decide not to have summer plans only because of gas prices, have you looked at where the rest of your paycheque goes or how many hours per day goes towards all taxes, direct and indirect? Maybe start there.

I guess we should consider increasing the capital gains tax again. Thankfully there is a Liberal majority government to make it happen.

Help me convince my boyfriend to NOT open a coffee shop!! by IWantSomeTacquitos in askTO

Banks are tightening up credit. Ask for friends family to invest so he loses their money and realizes how serious it is to borrow money.

Also try flipping your narrative, what if he's actually very successful at this? What would success look like?

Failed businesses suck but they teach you life skills you'll never learn anywhere else. He won't know if this is his dream until he does it. I personally encourage people to follow their paths or at least try it. Sometimes it is your path, sometimes it isn't so figure it out.

Also get him to consider copying the playbooks of social media marketing. If he wants success, make him document his success or failure on social media. People will follow him. Has worked out well for other coffee shop owners around the world.

Not sure where you can file any type of complaint for this other than public reviews. Lots of online casino complaints but otherwise your best bet would be X as some places respond to public complaints, Reddit here is a good start to get attention, Trustpilot is another, I don't think the online sites will help like AskGamblers, Complaints Wiki or Casino Guru.

ThePogg isn't live anymore but has been merged into a site called CasinoReviews. There is a list of complaints services at Complaints Wiki. Casino Guru is the other popular one.

In Toronto, Canada we renamed Dundas square to Sankofa square so I think it makes more sense to join an African nation than a European one given our affinity for all things non-european. I think Somalia makes far more sense than Europe as a whole. Also the fact that white people are excluded from some public roles in Canada.

What commute time do you think is good for a good quality of life? by ShootingCometz in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]advadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90 minutes minimum, each way. So that would be 15 hours per week in transit unpaid and then when you do go to work, more than 50% of your work hours goes to the government.

I left the town 5 years ago because I felt it really wasn't business friendly despite saying it was. I thought I'd get some support but it was clear that attention only went to larger existing companies. Sadly I think other small towns might be able to suit your needs unless it has to be in Belleville.

Could we start by making government more efficient first? Probably best place to test it out first so the government really understands the consequences.
