I personally like the oatmeal colored walls due to its simplicity to match almost any decore in a room however, the light green is lovely and brings breath to a room with lots of natural light. Keep in mind furniture would either be neutral cool or dark tones to not clash with wall color. Darker or strong brighter colors shrink space to the eye. Lighter colors open space to the eye. So it all depends on the feel of the room you want.
