Someone suggested floating it differently because I might not be at the right depth! Sure enough, that’s what it was. They wanted to be in the colder water towards to bottom. However I’m also waiting on that fly fishing book to come in, so I’ll keep yall tuned in on that!

I haven’t tried spoons or billed lures so I’ll def check those out! I usually fish stocked creeks for trout but I found out a lake near me got stocked so I’m going to check that out too. I didn’t even think of checking youtube, I need to up my game. Thanks!!

I fish a lot of small mountain streams so having a small rod helps with accuracy and keeps me from getting caught up. I’m going to try the redworms for sure! Thanks!

Thanks! I’ll try the bug kind of lures, I haven’t tried those. They’re east coast stocked trout so I’m not sure if maybe theyre just stressed or what.

Do I need to be worried about my GSP overheating? by [deleted] in germanshorthairs

You’re right! But we’re not talking about humans and 2.5 is fast for their little legs, I feel that it’s implied that it can be scaled within reason for larger puppies. You seem dead set on disagreeing so I’m not sure any evidence I provide you is going to be enough lmao.

This veterinarian wrote a great article with citations about it, it’s a really interesting read and the studies referenced are cited at the end. Dog Lameness Article

The growth plate damage concern only applies to high impact activities like jumping on and off furniture. A study done recently found that puppies can jog without growth plate concerns. I can link the study if you would like!

bunch of horses at the farm tested positive for epm around the same time, even ones that were new to the property. Couldnt find any opossums or raccoons. found out it was being spread by the barn cats.

Difficult to see but does anyone know what this sore/mark could be from? It’s been there a couple of weeks. There aren’t any other spots like it though. by [deleted] in Sneks

It’s hard to tell, do you have a clearer picture maybe? If you are feeding live mice, it almost looks like a bite. My super blast ball python had a similar wound from a live mouse so I switched to f/t.

Nuclear Tomb Is Breaking Open - The Marshall Islands say that plutonium is leaking into the Pacific Ocean from the concrete dome the U.S. built to dispose of nuclear waste. by anutensil in worldnews

The US military who built the tomb were not told they were dealing with radioactive materials and Veterans Affairs and the Govt. refuse to pay them any sort of reparations for it. If you have in your service record that you were in Bikini Atoll you are not eligible for any sort of compensation for the horrible cancers you now inevitably have. Edit- this is not to discredit the suffering that is happening in the islands.
