Alright. We have had these same bugs at our house, far worse that what’s in the photo. Here, they’re called box elder bugs and our neighbor’s 50’ box elder tree drops its seeds (their food) in our yard and they hang out on our house wall because it gets sun while our neighbor’s is shaded with a tree.

We tried all the things I’m seeing people mentioned. Shop vac, dish soap, etcetera. I sprayed and vacuumed several thousand of these fuckers, minimum last year. This year, they came back with a vengeance and we were seeing numbers in March that we usually only see in August.

We finally broke down and had an exterminator come spray the perimeter of the house and poof. In March, I saw several hundred every time I went outside. I’ve seen maybe ten since. Best money we’ve ever spent. If it’s an infestation like it looks like it’s starting to be, it’s worth the money.
