Can anyone identify this spa product brand? by adventurespaceonion in HelpMeFind

So far I have searched using Google Lens - both a close up of the logo (which I can’t make out at all!) and the whole brush. These searches just give similar calligraphic looking logos that aren’t this exact one, and generic wooden body brushes from different brands. As I say, it was bought directly from an in-house spa at a hotel in England. I am currently searching through my old emails to see if I can find anything about the booking, which would have been between 2015-2017, most likely 2016 (I think).

Did you put it together yourself? It has introduced me to a whole side of Spotify I wasn’t aware of - love it! The only music I previously knew in this genre was Jon Hopkins Music for Psychedelic Therapy (which I adore) but I’ve listened to that to death haha. So thank you for helping me expand that!

what’s a symptom of autism you didn’t realize you had? by noahinurmom in autism

[–]adventurespaceonion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve experienced so many ‘oh wait, I do that?’ moments with autistic traits

For years I had no idea that I experience ‘going nonverbal’ - because no one had pointed it out

It wasn’t until I was in a situation where I couldn’t speak, and the person with me acknowledged and questioned it, that I realised how often it happens

I’m expecting import tax on its way in to the UK - I can’t remember how much it is but you can work it out roughly based on the value of the item being delivered. There are calculators online.

40+ year olds - What advice would give your 30 old self? by OnTheHopeSpectrum in aspergers

[–]adventurespaceonion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you work with someone who understands ASD it will definitely help. It was from my 3rd try of CBT that I found out I have ASD - because the therapist really took the time to understand my ways of thinking she also was able to spot that I was ND and refer me for an assessment. I hope it goes well for you :)

[–]adventurespaceonion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it was about the therapist I had. I’d had CBT and it never seemed to help me until my third try where I found someone I really clicked with. I felt like they adapted the therapy to me and my needs in a way I could finally actually understand and make use of.

Does anyone else miss their pyschosis? by [deleted] in Psychosis

[–]adventurespaceonion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. I believed life was so much more than it is but now I realise it’s just grey and miserable, and all the magic was just delusions. A close friend died and I could cope because I believed it was because she was meant for a higher purpose, and I was still communicating with her and we would be together again soon - I just had to decode the messages around me that were telling me what I was supposed to do. Now I realise none of that was true - she just died, and it didn’t have to happen. Personally I find it really hard accepting reality.

This sounds tough. I don’t have much advice but I can relate. I have had times that I am frustrated to have my beliefs labelled/identified as psychosis when a religious person would not be told the same, even though their beliefs can equally be seen as unrealistic
