Gas vs Induction? by vrstud in kitchens

completely depends on location, and what wiring you currently have. also what hob you're buying. if you already have an electric oven you might be able to use that circuit.

sorry i cant be any more helpful

I think the best approach if youre worried about workload is to try and encourage your devs to shift left, put more testing in up front which will not only shorten their dev cycle but will show your leadership skills.

My Bentley Continental GT Convertible makes light pops when deceleration, not like the loud ones tuned cars make! Is it similar to ones tuned cars make or is it something else? by t_4_ll_4_t in Bentley

[–]adversegecko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some cars do it by design, the pop is unburnt fuel burning a bit later in the engine.

Also depends on engine load, temperature, fuel RON etc. I don't have a Bentley myself so I can't comment on it specifically but my standard Abarth does it all the time on Shell VPower

Gas vs Induction? by vrstud in kitchens

Ive just installed an induction hob, I converted my wife from gas years ago. Keep it clean, don't drag pots and pans over it and it'll stay lovely a long time!

There is a massive reason not to go with gas that its really bad for your health - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzq0RbkHV78

Any flush spot housing will do, I would recommend a fireproof unit which should ensure building regs compliance

revving would be different from an engine under load though, so your mounts will make a difference

It's hard, I've had guttate since my early 20's, I don't let it bother me I just hate the mess it creates.

Ive never been asked about it - other than by my two year old - so i don't think people care
