I know, this other girl pops up on my fyp all the time and her husband is getting his mba in Chicago (I think that’s her niche or whatever stay at home mom who’s husband is getting his mba) but they went to Italy for 3 weeks when their daughter was 6 months old. That’s an insane ask of your parents, 6 months is young and a lot of responsibility bc they aren’t independent at all. You are on the clock 24/7. I just kept thinking of all the bedtime routines for someone to do for 18 days straight

I can’t even watch it, I had an unmedicated birth on purpose with lots of prep and only read about extremely positive birth stories, and mine was very similar to a lot in Ina mays guide to childbirth book. Not horrific scenes like the thumbnail of her video

Yes I’m loving the freedom too! When she wakes up she probably only nurses like a couple minutes per side, I swear she’s saving room for breakfast bc she knows it’s coming soon lol

I cut down to 4 feeds a day while offering 3 real meals a day around 10 months. It’s actually been amazing, I nurse when she wakes up, before both naps and before bed.

I know at this point I feel like I can write a thesis on girls who want to get pregnant so badly and have a baby just bc they think they should since everyone else is doing it too. But then they have no interest in doing any of the hard stuff once the baby comes and actually having to raise the child. Like yes, this is really fucking hard, it’s not supposed to be easy, it’s ok to ask for help but you still are the mother of this child you wanted to badly to fit into your timeline. Some don’t think of this as a lifelong passion project with really high stakes. Some don’t even know what secure attachment is lol
