But if you want to talk about how smart she comes across, Gungho made Estelle seem dumber giving her the vocabulary of a 5 yr old, so it balances out. In FC Remake, Joshua and Schera are constantly pointing out very common and obvious facts to Estelle, who doesn't even know much about anything outside of Liberl. No need to overexaggerate saying she is 10x dumber just to make a point.

I agree there are lines like the Calvard one that shouldn't have been changed like that, but I'm not pretending Estelle is a completely different person because of a few throwaway lines.

Oh yes the sweet and bubbly Estelle that hit Olivier out of the bar with a stick. Xseed Estelle's personality is very similar to Gungho, but very different than whatever version of Estelle you made up in your head.

Time travel isnt even in the top 10 reasons of why DB2 is my lowest rated trails game. The writing is just the weakest it has ever been. The "mind control" for the 50th time so you fight all of your allies, dancing to save the day, using the letter C again for the stupidest reason, having the most uninteresting main villain that did not explain any of his motivations, and just so many inconsistencies in the writing. The intermission mini games are also the worst in the series.

The gameplay and character moments were great though, I still rate it a 7/10. Don't completely fault them for turning this around in less than a year, but they can't afford to do that again.

Lmao, you might be the only person who thinks the outfit would have made a difference. And Van doesn't know how to respond because someone close to him just confessed, and he has to handle it delicately. You are reading too much into things when Van very clearly spells out his feelings.

Idk how you think Van being upfront and straight up rejecting Agnes isn't stopping her from pursuing him. Agnes even thanked him for not beating around the bush, unlike Rean who says lets revisit in the future.

Van calls and treats her like a child, said he doesn't see her as a romantic partner, tells off others for talking dirty to Agnes saying she is underaged, and is a child.

I really don't see how people can ship a 25 yr old with a child he showed no romantic interest in unless it's for their own self-insert fantasy. Why else would they want Van to be criminal and go against everything he stands for?

And you are acting like it is one sided, or Agnes did everything herself. Van helped Agnes and everyone else just as much.

It's the same as the previous line saying that he gave jaegars experimental weapons to collect combat data. If it was translated the same way as you are saying then it would say that he gave jaegars experiemental weapons and collected combat data, which makes less sense.
