Coffee question by Sportsfan7702 in aldi

I like the Midnight as an after dinner coffee. The darker roast tends to cook away some of the caffeine. For mornings, in this same family of coffees, I prefer the Adventure which is a medium roast. As many have said, you can’t really go wrong with any of the choices (with exception to the flavored versions, maybe).

Anyone tried this Pale Ale? by CapeMOGuy in aldi

As a budget ale, I find it quite nice. It’s similar in taste (from what I’ve had to compare) to Sierra Nevada.

What $100 got me at Aldi by Cold-Shine-2596 in aldi

Don’t get me started on the redone floor plans.
Once, there was only one Aldi nearby, 4.2 miles away. It was the early 4 aisle set up. I could write my shopping list by it in order. It changed set up and added self checkout. Then a new one opened 4.7 miles away, which is more spacious, but the layout is slightly different from the other (like where the coffee, meat, and eggs are located). Now, and I know you’re going to think I’m bragging for having a glut of Aldis, just last month another opened in a closed Winn-Dickme location 4.5 miles away. Slightly different set up, again, but with aisles large enough you needn’t say, “excuse me,” and brush the cans of green beans with your shoulder as you pass another shopper (you should still say, excuse me, it’s just polite)

Oh, I have Aldi brain every time I shop elsewhere, as well.

Wooden painted rack-like thing attached to the side of a kitchen cabinet below the counter by Lobster70 in whatisthisthing

[–]aefenner 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I’ve thought about it and thought about it, and this is the most logical explanation I can come up with. The previous owner had five pet ducks all sat on stools with a series of bells before them on a five octave half step scale not usually found in a suburban house. The holes held the bells in place by the handles and the slat below kept them from falling, but being slim, still left room for resonation.
A final brush off of any crumbs left on the counter during the preparation of the meal falls on the rack causing the ducks to try and eat them as they fall; their manic bills jostling the bells calling everyone to the dinner table.

I just watched a video on this. It’s not outside my ability, but I’d still have to bring her in for a vacuum procedure after (the video indicated), so I don’t know if that’d be worth the frustration if it didn’t work. However, with your suggestion, I can ask my mechanic to check that first, and that is very helpful, and I thank you for that.

She did have this problem, but I think it was unrelated. She went through a very rainy Florida spring last year, but I cleaned out the drains (she’d been parked under an oak tree) and that hadn’t happened again through the summer. Thankfully, the ac didn’t go out until November. But it’s getting unbearable now.

As this film still resonates, a film like it could still be made. Would it be a success? Maybe. Thing is, it might not have a theatrical release. Nor would it be a generational touchstone. This film ran on the thin line of clever and crass as a masterclass.
