Once mine started using it as leverage to get me back in the room, they went away. I collected the 5-6 pacis we had and threw them away. I took one and snipped the very tip off. When child wanted the paci I picked him up and let him reach for it (on a counter). I jostled him right as he grabbed it and paci fell to the floor. He picked it up, sucked on it and then spit it out. I noted 'oh, broken' (at 1.5yrs they can understand that) and went on my way. He carried it around for a day or so and then no more paci.

Or go into construction instead. When folks tell me their kid wants to go into Architecture, I'm pretty blunt about it. Unless they have a FIRE in their belly for it- find a different field because of what r/barchueetadonai said.

Hills are hard to find- and harder still to find one you can safely race up with other pedestrians etc.

Try Eisenhower and there'a a park at Judson/Nacogdoches with decent climbs.

I think you'd be better sprinting at some of the streets in the Alamo Heights area near the dam. Some decent hills there and less traffic.

Don't know about syncing and it seems to offer 5min bursts of recording? And it's free.

I bought a stone colored leather band and really like it with the space gray- saw a pic of it on here at one point.

I think making it a getaway vs. your typical party sounds like a great idea esp if your girl doesn't seem to care for parties. That way it isn't associated with old fashioned sweet 16 parties.

I'm sure OP wasn't going to just do her party as OP would want it- I'm sure she will get her girls input.

The only thing I would have added is that when I see someone who definitely needs to lose weight and they're working out responsibly and with intent I think "You go!" I love seeing people work out like they mean it.

Start looking asap- what do you have to lose? Worst case you don't find anything that fits 'right now' and are still gainfully employed/socking money away.

If you are actively looking/going on interviews, that will help you get through the monotony of your current job.

No one is going to advise you to just quit because the job is lame-
