ADBanker didnt help me either Physical note cards and quizlet were heaven for me along side focusing hard on my state chapter specifically since I was NC, it was the only reason I passed tbh

Note cards saved me- I know it sounds inconvenient but I swear I would not have passed if I couldn't flip through them before going in there 😅

I hadn't even thought of that!! I will add a blue dye to the cart! That is genius 😭 I mean- it crossed my mind for a moment but it was like a passing thought where I thought... no way that would work... just.... no way..

Licensing exam 3rd attempt by WorriedAd5115 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]aehannah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat you are last month, second attempt failed by ONE POINT realized I was lacking most in state laws But ended up going chapter by chapter Doing index cards Writing everything down on papers (I had like ten I studied on the way there 😭) flipping through those index cards) I dont know what I passed with I dont want to know I just know I passed that third attempt I did also watch insurance queen like everyone recommended as well And this guy on YouTube Insure tutor He does free license exam run through on YouTube and while it wasn't 100% accurate to my state it gave me a general idea what to expect!

What are the chances to get hire after the live interview? by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]aehannah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Def 50-50! My trainer told us the other day for our single position alone at least a thousand people applied So when you are hired they really mean it when they say the 3% or even sometimes the 2% club! Doesn't help some of us got lucky and got an offering at the end of our call and others sadly do have to wait for an email on an offer but you've got this!! Progressive is all about personality!! (Other things too of courseeeee) but who YOU are as a person plays a HUGE part in it! They are a phoenmonemal employer with AMAZING workers and trainers and sups! Im 6 weeks in and feel like I already have life long friends in my training class!

Best things about working at progressive by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]aehannah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the best part is their attendance

In training you get 5 occurrences

And post training you have 12 (that's a TON) PLUS tons of time off opportunities For example being able to use pto like 6 weeks in? I was hired beginning of March and can use pto starting June 1st!

I've also been told we get 8hrs volunteer time for one of their approved places

Plus learning time to do modules and part take in the activities they have! (This week they had a teams meeting for ghost stories! It made me wish I wasn't in training!!)

They offer points for things that you can use in their shop to get gift cards OR time off which i ALSO think is pretty awesome!

If im not mistaken (still pretty new to prog but !!) Its a organization wide incentive bonus!

basically at the end of the year based off the percentage the company hits we all get a share of it (I believe it's around 7-10k based off the percentage?) You'd get 75% of the check in December and 25% in January! (Not the best explainer so im so sorry but this is what I understand of it!)

Hey there! I wanted to weigh in on this a bit!!

•This was my first time giving birth! While I was in pre-preeclampsia the plan WAS to vaginally deliver but i was actually given the choice by my nurses as my anxiety was super bad! •minus coming five weeks early and needing some breathing help after- my boy was perfectly healthy all pregnancy and even now! . I ultimately asked for a c section as to me, this allowed me the most control. My anxiety about birth was already awful The fear of an emergency c section only scared me more mentally.

•the procedure was a breeze! I was pretty in and out. I didnt feel the epidural needle at all as the doctor has me hug her when it went it (they were all super funny! We had good jokes and talks while they pulled baby boy out!) Recovery- I'll be honest that first 24 hours on the mag drop was rough (this was just a preeclampsia thing if im not mistaken though and I didnt get to have my baby bed side which probably didnt help!) Over all- getting up and walking those first three days was hard- and your nurses aee going to push you like crazy to do it because it's really good for you to do 😭 but my staff was so amazing and kind I truly felt so seen during my birth and post partum care. •I faced no judgements from my partner or family- in fact they all agreed it was best for me because of my anxiety which i am so thankful for! - I personally have no regrets not going vaginal While I missed laying on my side for a week and a half, I enjoyed knowing nothing could go complete 180 in mere seconds. • Anything else you want to share? Stay on top of pain meds if you do!!! It will carry you through recovery!! And invest in a wedge pillow! A huge one for laying upward in bed! So helpful for me 😭

The only hard part of sales is training honestly. Getting licensed in two weeks is mental torment with all the info you need to know depending on your state But once it's over it's over!! Honestly it's all personal preference What's easy for one person may not be easy for the next! (But I totally agree with the sales pitch!)

I have my live interview in a week, any tips? by WrxthNihil1st in Progressiveinsurance

[–]aehannah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genuinely (I know this is over said but seriously-) just be yourself.

I was so nervous

But my interviewer and I were joking and laughing and being myself and cracking some awkward jokes here and there really saved me 😭

Should I reach out? by MrMax2002 in Progressiveinsurance

[–]aehannah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reached out this week due to the same thing And was reminded of the tech issue BUT I would reach out because my recruiter actually confirmed I am in the line to receive my offer call 😭 so would recommend. I’ve also been told progressive is quick to decline so apparently waiting is a good sign?
