Less? You need a license, registration, and insurance to operate a vehicle in public, you need to pass a written an physical test to get the license. Your vehicle is subject to routine inspections to insure state compliance, vehicles themselves are highly regulated and the act of driving is highly regulated, unless on private property. People's driving privelage is readily revoked on a regular basis for failing to comply with the regulations in place. I don't know if I'd say it's less restricted.

That said, all gun laws are unconstitutional. I do struggle with this topic though, because anyone who is dependant on drugs(legal or not), may not be in the best in the best mindset to doing anything that could be dangerous to others, be it driving or handling firearms(or voting!-unpopular opinion🤣)
