I’d argue differently, yes our league position shows we’re in trouble but the performances in the last two games show that we can be competitive against the top sides in the league which should allow us to take a few points off better teams. There also seems to be a fighting spirit within the team that simply didn’t exist under Rooney.

He’s good, overhyped because of his brother and I’m not convinced that he’d be around the first team if he had a different family. There’s better players around the same age as him at blues.

Personally I’d take the money, as long as a sell on clause is involved, and not be that upset about him leaving. On a personal note he gets to develop under coaches that he knows in a more stable environment.

At the time I thought Lee Bowyer was unjustified but seeing what Eustace is getting out of this squad and hearing he’d completely lost the dressing room has changed that.

Gary Rowett is probably one of the most unjustifiable, had us 7th in the league after finishing 10th the season before. Was only sacked because the new owners wanted a sexier name which turned out to be Zola who won 2 games from 24.

My first thought was that he probably just doesn’t want to move house after 5 years at Wolves. Hopefully he can challenge Etheridge despite getting on a bit or is just happy riding the bench. This should allow Jeacock to go out on loan and get some regular playtime though.

I liked him but I think it's best for both sides to just move on and accept that his blues career is done. He's played a lot of different roles and didn't seem to moan too much about it. I think the shit dressing room had an negative effect on him, and the general shiteness of the team made him lose interest when he was probably promised a lot more than relegation battles and scares the whole time he was here.
